Freelance journalist Christie Gorsline lives and works in Wilsonville, Oregon.  Christie writes feature and travel articles for national and Oregon markets.  She also writes editorials, essays on current topics and her personal travels and award-winning historical pieces.

 

Christie Gorsline's feature articles, editorials and essays have appeared in the Star News, the Idaho Statesman and the Oregonian.  Her travel articles have appeared in Living Aboard, Latitude 38, and Cruising World magazines.  Original essays were broadcast on NPR in 2005 and 2006.

Christie has taught high school journalism and authored over 50 newspaper articles.  When living in McCall, Idaho, she organized The Payette Lake Writers annual fall conference.
